We have spent countless nights in different accommodations across our favourite beachside town in Bali. After trying everything from luxury resorts to family guesthouses, I’ve realised there’s no single “best” place to stay in Sanur—it all depends on what matters most to you.
After all these years of visits, I’ve realised that where we stay shapes our experience more than almost anything else. I’m now firmly in the “location is everything” camp. Sanur is walkable, but Bali’s sidewalks (or lack thereof) and tropical heat mean that an extra 15-minute walk can sometimes feel like an endurance event,
