Walk in Breakfasts in Sanur Bali

For me, a good breakfast is a must on holiday. It doesn’t matter if we are staying at a small homestay in Sanur or a larger hotel, I just feel breakfast is a great way to start the day.

We usually book a place to stay in Sanur that has breakfast included in our room cost, even if it is just a basic choice. This gives us the option to have a lazy start to the day with a plate of Nasi Goreng at the hotel or to head out and try one of the walk in breakfasts in Sanur.

It doesn’t matter what sort of breakfast it is, we just love trying different breakfasts in Sanur.

Even if you have breakfast included in your room price, you may want to try breakfast at some different places in Sanur. Luckily, in Sanur, there are plenty of breakfast options for you with street stalls, trendy coffee shops, cafes and big resorts.

You can find local street food like Laklak, Dadar Gulung, Pastries, Eggs Benedict and full buffets at many of the resorts.

We like going to some of the bigger resorts to try their breakfasts. Many of the bigger resorts on the beach in Sanur will offer walk-in breakfast for people not staying there. We love trying what they have on offer, it’s that little bit of the luxury they offer without the huge price tag of staying there.

Before we share our favourite spots, here’s what we’ve learned about walk in breakfasts:

• Book ahead – most resorts prefer a reservation
• Expect to pay anywhere from 150,000IDR upwards per person
• Most walk in breakfasts in Sanur serve from 6.30 am to 10 am

You can also ask the reception if you can go and have a look at what they offer for breakfast, and decide to eat then and there or book a time or day to return.

If they have space that day, they may let you join straight away, but do remember that there will be some changes to the dishes if you do decide to return on another day.
