Something for Everyone in Sanur

Sanur is located in the southeast of Bali, on the opposite side of the island to Kuta and Seminyak. The beach is the number one highlight of Sanur — you can swim in the calm shallow water, shop for local goods, take a boat ride, get a massage, or simply relax. Sanur has something for everyone.

For beach lovers, Sanur’s calm waters are perfect for swimming and the 6 kilometre Sanur Beach Path is ideal for walking, running and riding bikes. You can rent jet skis and canoes, book a boat tour to nearby islands for snorkelling or fishing. For shopping, head to Sanur’s markets for traditional Balinese goods or Icon Mall for the big western brands.

After a long day exploring, there’s nothing better than a relaxing massage. Sanur has plenty of spas to make weary bodies feel young again. Those looking for culture can find a number of small temples and the Museum Le Mayeur. Foodies will be spoilt for choice with a huge range of local and international restaurants, and the town has plenty of cafés serving world class coffee.
