Transport in Bali

Bali is a popular tourist destination, and getting around the island can be an adventure in itself. One of the most common ways to get around is by renting a scooter. Scooters are available for rent at many places, and they’re relatively inexpensive. However, it’s important to note that Bali’s roads can be chaotic, and safety gear should be worn at all times.

Another option is to hire a driver. This is a great option if you’re not comfortable driving yourself or if you want to explore the island without having to navigate. Many drivers are available for hire, and rates are negotiable.

Grab, the ride-sharing service, is also available in Bali. It’s a convenient way to get around, and fares are reasonable. However, it’s important to note that not all areas of Bali have Grab service.

If you prefer to use local transport, there are plenty of options available. Buses, called bemos, are a popular option for short trips. They’re cheap, but they can be crowded and uncomfortable.

If you plan on driving in Bali, make sure you have an international driver’s license. It’s required by law, and you could face fines if you’re caught driving without one.

Overall, getting around Bali can be an adventure, but with a little planning, it’s easy to find the right transportation option for your needs.
