Paying for a walk in breakfast at Holiday Inn Sanur

A short walk down JI Kasuma Sari towards the beach and you will find one of the best walk-in breakfasts in Sanur. The Holiday Inn at Sanur is more than happy to accept people for a walk in breakfast. You do not need to be staying at the hotel to enjoy the breakfast buffet. One thing about chain hotels like Holiday Inn is, you know that you will get a good level of quality when it comes to food.

The breakfast at Sanur Holiday Inn is on offer from 6am to 10:30am every morning, 7 days a week. The breakfast area at Holiday Inn gives you the option of both indoor and outdoor dining. To be honest, the outdoor area looked to be mostly in full sunlight, this area would be very hot most days.

What to expect at a walk in breakfast

The indoor area at Holiday Inn was a little on the small side, one of the smallest breakfast areas I have seen at a big hotel in Sanur. Just to clarify that i wasn’t hard to get food at all though.

The service area where the food was located actually stretched from out into the hotel lobby from the breakfast area because of the small size of the main breakfast room. Something a little unique about the breakfast at Holiday Inn Sanur was there had an Indian Station with Korma, Butter Chicken, naan Bread and more on for breakfast. I for one loved it as i love Indian food.

  • Java Fried Rice
  • Fried Egg Noodle
  • Tumis Bunkus
  • Pancakes
  • French Toast
  • Chicken Sausages
  • Congee
  • Fruit smoothies
  • Indian food station
  • Pastries
  • Cold meats and cheeses.

Holiday Inn had a small egg station which makes a selection of omelets, scrambled, fried, and poached eggs. The egg station was located in the lobby area of the hotel along with the Congee and the fruit smoothies.

The Mango and Turmeric seemed to be the most popular one available. A plus with wandering out into the lobby for food was two locals playing traditional Balinese music, which we always love hearing.

One of the staff came to our table and asked if we wanted coffee, which was a nice touch. We asked for 2 lattes and she returned a few minutes later with them. I found this exceptional but maybe it is standard at the Holiday Inn breakfast.

We spent about 45 minutes having breakfast, we tried most of the food on offer which was really tasty and mostly freshly cooked and refilled regularly. For the service and variety on offer it was a great option for a big hotel type breakfast in Sanur Bali.

How much is the breakfast at Holiday Inn

When we visited for breakfast, the price was only 150,000IDR plus tax, which was so cheap, way cheaper than i expected. Maybe they had a special on, I am not sure. Your best bet if you want a solid price is to contact the hotel via email at fbholidayinnsanur@ihg.com. This Sanur hotel is defiantly a top choice for a walk in breakfast in Bali.

Not only that, but we aim to keep the information fresh by continuing to visit Sanur and getting first-hand information off our Balinese friends.
