Couples seek an ideal romantic getaway—a place to relax, escape everyday life, and enjoy time spent together. With many choices available these days, we believe Sanur Bali is a highly recommended destination for romantics.
Sanur, on the east coast of Bali, is a good location with access to the beach, shopping, dining, live music, and plenty of other things couples can do together. You will not have the crazy traffic you find in Kuta and Seminyak, shopkeepers will not harass you, and you will easily walk along the beach hand in hand. Romantic Sanur is waiting for you.
Romantic hotels on the beachfront often feature a lovely pool, modern amenities, private balcony rooms, delicious food, and good service. Popular romantic hotels set the scene to ignite your passion with an unforgettable evening on Sanur Beach.

Take in a Sanur Sunrise
Probably the thing that Sanur is best known for is its stunning sunrises. This will require you to get out of your comfortable beds and modern rooms at your hotel and head to the beach.
Sit on the sand and prepare for the sun to dance on the calm waters between Sanur Beach and Nusa Lembongan.
It would be best to head to the beach around 5.30 am, which is the only downside to this romantic experience. Watching a sunrise together can inspire your day and give you a sense of sharing an experience with your partner.
One bonus is that afterwards, a good breakfast will await you at your hotel or on the main street of J.L. Danau Tamblingan.
Afternoon Tea in Sanur
Some hotels in Sanur offer afternoon tea to suit your taste buds. Guests can expect a range of finger foods, from sandwiches and pastries to cakes with tea and coffee. The Intercontinental Hotel in Sanur offers afternoon tea in two different areas of the hotel.
The friendly staff will seat you for afternoon tea at Pier 8 on the beach or The Lobby Lounge. You can expect great service and free wi-fi as you enjoy an intimate afternoon tea in one of the best hotels in Sanur Beach. We recommend staying at the Intercontinental for that extra special experience. Book your afternoon tea today.

The best time to visit Sanur
The best time to visit Sanur and other spots in Bali, Indonesia, is during the dry season, which runs from May to September. During this time, the weather in Bali is generally sunny with low humidity, making it perfect for outdoor activities such as walking, swimming, snorkelling, and reading a book while lying by the pool.
April and October shoulder seasons can also be good times to visit Sanur, as the weather in Sanur is still pleasant but with fewer crowds. Pack your suitcase and book your flights for one of the best periods to visit attractions such as Bali Zoo, Waterbom and the Monkey Forest.
However, if you don’t mind the occasional rain shower, visiting Sanur during the wet season from October to March can also have advantages. The lush greenery and cooler temperatures can be refreshing, but ensure you have a waterproof bag and umbrella for your outings in case of a downpour.
It’s worth noting that Sanur in Bali is a popular tourist destination, and the peak season for tourism is from June to August. Planning your visit outside these months is best if you prefer to avoid crowds and higher prices.
